Graveside services for John L. Jones, SR will be held Friday, February 22, 2013 at 9:45am at Houston National Cemetery with Pastor Bill Markham officiating. John was born May 30, 1941 in Elkton, Maryland to Walter and Mary Jones and passed away February 19, 2013 at the age of 71, in Willis, Texas. John was a loving husband, father and grandfather. The Windshield repair man will be missed by all who knew him and the family he has left behind. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; brother, Gene and sister Marie and by his granddaughter, Angela. He is survived by his wife Sue Jones; sons, Jim, Bill, John Jr, and Doug; daughters, Tammy and Christy; grandchildren, Thomas, Tyler, William, Daniel, Brandon, Cody and Jessica; great grandchildren, Brea, Ryan and Thomas Alexander and by his two brothers, Charlie and David. Pallbearers will be the members of the VFW.
